Water. We all know we need to be drinking it, but are we drinking enough?
I recently took a look to see how much water I was actually drinking and it was SCARY. How could I be helping my body that is made up mostly of water by drinking less than 64 oz a day.
I’ve been focusing on drinking at least 100 oz a day, but I’m ideally trying to drink 128 oz, or a gallon, a day. It seemed very daunting at first, but the more I started drinking, the more I realized how dehydrated I had been.
There are so many benefits to drinking water. I have been focusing on the health benefits, but there are many more benefits too. I mean think about it, you can drink more water to be healthier AND you’ll need to take more bathroom breaks at work. Seems like a win win. As Megan of Megan Quintana Artistry also said, “Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! I can’t emphasize this enough! Drink your proper daily water intake, moisturize your skin based on your skin type.” I have personally found I sleep better when I am less dehydrated, which also leads to me being able to handle life so much better. It’s not easy handling stress when you’re tired!
Who wants to join me in drinking more water? Let’s hold each other accountable for something so essential that we will all be winning!
Happy drinking (water)!
